Certification Authority Services

The Population Register Centre certificate system is based on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Electronic identification offers you the opportunity for secure online transactions anywhere and any time. The system enables the realisation of privacy protection and information security, which is a basic right of citizens and an absolute requirement for online service providers.

 

The Population Register Centre offers its certificate services for use in service provision by the public sector as well as the private and non-profit sectors. Reliable user identification and electronic signatures provide the opportunity for totally new types of transactions.

 

In addition to the Citizen Certificate, the Population Register Centre also produces organisation certificates.
